SELFS TO CELEBRATE 50 YEARS TOGETHER

Eugene and Maysel (Hill) Self, of Maryville, TN, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. December 2, 2007 at New Providence Primitive Baptist Church, Maryville. They request that gifts be omitted. Their family includes children Lamar Self, of Maryville, Jeff Self and wife Brenda, of Maryville, and Randall Self and wife Ingrid. They have three grandchildren. Mr. Self is retired from ALCOA Inc. Mrs. Self is retired from Lays. They are members of New Providence Primitive Baptist Church and N.R.A.

IMOGINE CARMLEY KING OBITUARY

IMOGINE CARMLEY KING, age 91, of the Ballplay Community, Vonore, TN passed away 4:40 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007 at East Tennessee Health Care Center. She had made her home the last 10 years with her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter Marie and David Thomas and LeAnne Thomas. She attended Ebenezer (Ballplay) Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband of 65 years, Virgil King; grandchildren Jeffery Scott Burris, Michelle Denise Cooke; parents Frank Sylvester Carmley and Hannah Cordellia Young Carmley Self; sisters Thenia Carmley Bowers, Grace Carmley Jenkins; brothers Manual, John and Tom Carmley; daughter-in-law Gracie Mae King; sons-in-law Bennie Schubert, George Cooke; step-father Carra Self; step great grandchild Rachelle Denise Lawson; step-grandsons-in-law Matthew Claude Kisner, Paul Douglas Neal. Funeral 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Jimmy Manis, Rev. Jimmy Jackson officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Ebenezer (Ballplay) Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, TN.
