In Memory of Steven James Self, Jr.


I have a death in the family that I wish to report.

Steven James "Jay" Self, Jr. , of Sweetwater, Tennessee, passed away Friday, June 24, 2005. He was 26 years old. "Jay" was the son of Steven J. Self, Sr. and Dorothy Harwell Kenworthy. He was a grandson of James Bartley "Doc" Self and Mary Ellen Yates Self. "Doc" Self was the son of George W. Self, the grandson of Rev. C.C. Self and the great grandson of John J. Self. "Jay" was buried in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Vonore, TN.
