JIMMY ELBERT MCLEMORE OBITUARY


Jimmy Elbert McLemore, age 71, of Maryville, TN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 14, 2009. He was a beloved husband and father who was a faithful servant of the Lord and sang his praises for 35 years. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he was a deacon for 34 years. He also owned and operated McLemore Garage for 40 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Ella Self McLemore; brother, Eddie McLemore and sister, Shirley Bryant. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Marie McLemore; daughters, Lynnette Lynn and Lisa Gregory; daughter and son in law, Selena and Paul Sargent; grandchildren, Chad Goins and wife, Mai-Linh, Jesse Marie and Joseph Gregory, Braydon Sargent; great grandchildren, Kadie Buchanan, Dominic and Ty Goins; brothers, Danny McLemore, Harold McLemore and wife, Barbara; sisters, Agnes Potter, Delores Webb, Nadine Booth and husband, Larry; sons in law, Roger Goins and Jeff Gregory; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2009 at Friendship Baptist Church, Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Graveside service and interment will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Church.
