Faye Self Strickland, age 86, of Vonore, Tennessee, widow of Delmo Strickland, passed away 4:40 P.M. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Member of Vonore Baptist Church. Survivors, daughters & sons-in-law, Frankie & Cara McLemore, Barbara & Jamie Perry, all of Madisonville, Sons & daughters-in-law, Jerry & Wanda Strickland, Jackie Strickland, Douglas & Louise Strickland, Tommy & Carolyn Strickland, all of Madisonville, Katherine Strickland, Vonore, 10 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren, Sisters, Lula Burnett, Knoxville, Nellie Hawkins, Greenback, Helen Gibby, Nashville, Brothers, Frank Self, Knoxville, Jake Self, Madisonville, Several nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by son, Charles Strickland, parents, Harrison & Lizzie Cottrell Self, sisters, Blonnie Case & Pearl Geddings, brother, Samuel Douglas Self. Funeral 8 P.M. Friday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Tommy Self officiating. Interment 10 A.M. Saturday, Vonore Methodist Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Friday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, TN.
