PHILLIP CARL SELF HAS DIED

Phillip Carl Self, age 56, of Vonore, Tennessee passed away 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at his home. He was the son of James Bartley (Doc) Self and Mary Ellen Yates Self. He was a long haul truck driver and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by wife, Maureen Susan Brady Self and his father. He is survived by two children, his mother and several sisters and brothers. The funeral service will be private.
(James Bartley Self was the son of George Washington Self and Nelia Nichols Self, the grandson of Cicero and Mosurie Self and the great-grandson of John J. Self and Lydia Avaline Waters Self.)
