PAMELA SELF WORLEY OBITUARY

Pamela Self Worley, passed away January 21, 2018. She was born in Graham County, NC on November 8, 1953 to the late Riley and Zetta Anderson Self. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Frank Worley; along with brothers, Tony and Jerry; and two sisters, Cleo and Becky. Becky was there to greet her as they both left this world for their heavenly home only days apart. "Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her." Proverbs 31:28.
Our family was truly blessed that God chose her to be our Mom, Gram, Maj, MawMaw and Mamaw. We each had our special name for her and she loved and adored each of us dearly as we were her pride and joy and greatest accomplishments. Those left to cherish sweet memories are her children; Chris (Ann) Worley of Hudson; Joe ( Kristi) of Portsmouth, VA; Susan (Andy) Propst of Granite Falls; her dear grandchildren, April (Jordan) Wingler; Kristi Burkett; Jordyn Propst; Audri (Matt) Reitz; Camdyn Propst; and Joe Worley, Jr.; her precious great-grandchildren, Caleb Foust; Sophia Hamby; Dawson Hamby; Kaylee "Girlfriend" Wingler; and Tucker "BB" Burkett; sisters, Dottie, Avis and Mavis; and brothers, Benny and Mark.
She also had many nieces and nephews along with other special family and friends that will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
