TRIVIA QUESTION... WHO HAD THE PET CROW ?

Cousin John Heneger shared with me recently that when he was a kid he went with his mother to visit a Self family. The Self man had a pet crow that he had trained to get a match from his hair. John does not recall who the Self man was. Can anyone help us with this mystery? I am curious to know who it was myself.
