It is primarily for information pertaining to the SELF surname, more particularly for descendants of John J. and Lydia Avaline Waters Self, who were married in Union County, GA in 1851. Barry Self is the SELF proclaimed family genealogist and historian, having spent over 20 years researching this Self line. DAVID, WILSON AND GERALD SELF


This photo was taken at the Self Gathering in Plano, Texas in April. Pictured are (L to R) David Self, his father Wilson Self and brother Gerald Self. David Self was the one who presented the program on Westward emigration at the Self Gathering. He is also doing a lot of great research on the Self family at the present.
