J.L. AND EDNA SELF TO CELEBRATE GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY


J.L. and Edna (McDaniel) Self, of Maryville, TN, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary December 23, 2009.

The couple were married in 1959, in Madisonville, TN. The Rev. Robert Maxwell officiated.

Their family includes sons Donnie (Brenda), Kenneth, Steven (Shelley), Roger (Paula) and the late David Self. Their grandchildren are Christopher, Cheree, Lexie and Brock Self, Melissa (Chad) Morrison and Haley Simerly. They have one great-grandson, Levi Morrison.

Mr. Self is a retired drywall contractor. Mrs. Self is a homemaker.

They attend Hillcrest Baptist Church.
