NEMA SUE UNDERWOOD OBITUARY

UNDERWOOD, NEMA SUE, age 60, of Vonore, Tennessee passed away 12:15 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 at home with family after a brief battle with lymphoma. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and Vonore chapter # 383, Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by parents, John “Beece” and Creed Earl Self Kirkland, brother, Earl Kirkland. Survivors: loving husband of 42 years, Roger D. Underwood, Sr.; daughter, Nema Dale Underwood Moses; sons and spouses, Roger “Junior” and Becky Underwood, Donald and LeeAnne Underwood; grandchildren, Autumn Queen and husband Dustin, Sarah Moses, Cory Underwood, Carrie Underwood, Darrin Underwood, Kyli Underwood; sister, Barbara Kirkland Strickland; nieces, Angie Willix, Teresa Crowden, Cindy Kirkland. Funeral 8:00 p.m. Sunday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Ronnie Davis, Rev. Chris Holloway, Rev. Charles White officiating. Interment 10:00 a.m. Monday, Vonore Baptist Cemetery. Eastern Star service 7:45 p.m. Sunday. Family will receive friends 6-7:45 p.m. Sunday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, MadisonvilleTN.
