OLA MAE SELF OBITUARY

Ola Mae (Connatser) Self, age 95, of Louisville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at the family home. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church for 70 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, O.W. and Florence Mize Connatser; husband, Sanford Self; loving stepmother, Faye Rhyne Connatser; baby daughter, Joyce Marie Self; sister, Una Faye Connatser; brothers, Alton, Roy and Fred Connatser. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Hugh McCall, Phyllis and Marvin Loveday, Edith and David Barry; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Martha Self and John and Susan Self; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ernest, Paul, Owen and Lemuel Connatser; sisters, Laura and Ruby Connatser; numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. John Cooper, Dr. Jeffrey Johnson and UT Hospice for their excellent care. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Armstrong officiating. The family and friends will assemble directly following the service at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
