DELIA JANE ARP SELF OBITUARY



Delia Jane (Arp) Self age 86 of Maryville, TN passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Kindred Healthcare Center. She was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Self; daughter, Shelia Self; son, Jim Self; parents, John and Martha Arp; brothers, James, Andy, Carl, and J. Arp; sisters, Louie Belcher and Ruby Selvidge. Survivors include her children, Donna Self, Rick Self, Terry and Mary Self, Glenda Self; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. The family would like to thank all the caregivers on the North wing at Kindred Healthcare and on the 5th floor at Blount Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in the Smith West Chapel with Norman Arp and Rev. Keith Ross officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2105 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 983-1000.

MARY ELLEN LOGAN OBITUARY


 Mary Ellen Logan, age 85, of Sweetwater, TN has moved from Sweetwater to her new home in Heaven on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. She was of the Church of God faith. Avid quilter and gardener. She raised ten children, six of whom served in the United States Military. Mary is preceded in death by her parents William Riley Yates and Mary Leona Milsaps Yates, son, Phillip Carl Self, three grandsons, one granddaughter and five siblings. She is survived by her children: Mary Sue West of Vonore, Sarah Patricia Leming of Madisonville, Carol Ann McDonald of Sweetwater, Steven James Self Sr. of Sweetwater, Josephine Darlene Morrow of Vonore, Jeffrey Daniel Self of Rockwood, Howard David Self of Madisonville, Hubert John Self of Belton, TX and Robin Lynn Bowers of Etowah. Grandchildren: Mark T. West of Vonore, Patricia Lee Steele of Mississippi, Jackie Tallent of Madisonville, Lehla McMahan of Maryville, Angela Mae Rodgers of Madisonville, Beverly Ann Couch of Dayton, Christopher Don Hood of Sweetwater, Trisha Jennings of Florida, Phillip Karl Self of Florida, Tonya Tolbert of N.C., Jesse Morrow of Sweetwater, Samantha Self of Pennsylvania, and Jeremy Self of Johnson City. There are 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 2:00 P.M until 4:00 P.M at Sweetwater Memory Chapel. Graveside service and Interment to follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park with Grandson, Andrew Self officiating. Sweetwater Memory Chapel in charge of arrangements.
