WEDDING BELLS RING FOR SARAH SELF AND BRANNON DAVIS



Sarah Self and Brannon Davis were married on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Living Life Event Venue in Philadelphia, Tennessee. Sarah is the daughter of Donnie and Marcia Self of Vonore, TN. She is a 2010 graduate of Sequoyah High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree, with a major in psychology from the University of Tennessee in 2014, and her master of science degree in elementary education from UT in 2015. Sarah is currently a third grade teacher at Madisonville Intermediate School.

Brannon is the son of Chris and Trudy Davis of Vonore and James and Kim Davis of Sweetwater, TN. He is a 2002 graduate of Sequoyah High School and is currently employed as a welder at New Dimension Towers.

STEVEN DWIGHT WAYMAN OBITUARY



Wayman, Steven D., age 63, of Maryville, TN, passed away 11:46 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Broadway Baptist Church. Preceded in death by father, Dwight Wayman; step-father, Mark Linton. Survivors: wife, Linda Wayman; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Lindsay, of Seymour, Michael and Brittney, of Vonore; grandchildren, Kelsey, Tiffany, Bentley, Callie, Weston, Olivia, Jaxon; mother, Lucile Hunt Linton, of Tellico Plains; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Dennis Calhoun, of Benton, Arkansas, Lynette and Mike Atkinson, of Pearl, MS; aunt, Ellen Harrison, of Maryville; many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Kidney Foundation. Graveside service and interment 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Oak Grove Friends Cemetery, Rev. Scott Knight officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, TN.
