ARMENDA SELF OBITUARY

SELF, ARMENDA, age 86, of Vonore, Tennessee, widow of J.R. Self, passed away 4:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the home of her son, Donnie. She was a member of Citico Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Henderson and Sallie King; sisters, Bertha Patton, Offie Patton, Dovie Millsaps; brother, Leonard King; half-sisters, Gladys Duncan, Annie Millsaps; half-brothers, Elmer Woods, Roscoe Woods. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Marcia Self, Gordon and Penny Self, of Vonore; grandchildren, Ben Self, Atlanta, GA, Sarah and Brannon Davis and Dustin Self; great-grandson, Weston Davis, of Vonore; sister, Faye Dunlap, of Maryville; half-sisters, Freida Gunter, of Madisonville, Mary Garrett; half-brother, Brodus King, of Vonore; several nieces and nephews. Funeral 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Dustin Self, Rev. David Lane officiating. Interment 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Citico Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, TN.
