UNDERWOOD, VIRGINIA (GEN) WALKER, age 62, of Tellico Plains, TN, passed away 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Sweetwater Hospital. She was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Mary Dovie Walker; grandparents, Ernest and Luana Duncan Miller; Viola McKenzie; nephews, Michael Fain and Dale Gourley. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Ashley Underwood; sister and brother-in-law, Martha Lou and Harry Fain; brother, Charles Walker, all of Tellico Plains; special nephew and nieces, Zachary and Lesha Taylor, Elexus Fain; Jamie’s father, Homer Underwood, of Tellico Plains. Funeral  7:00 p.m. Thursday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Arthur Andrew Moser, Rev. Richard Self officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Friday, Citico Cemetery. WALKER, MARY DOVIE MILLER, age 85, of Tellico Plains, TN, widow of Roy L. Walker and oldest granddaughter of Dovie Self, passed away 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at U.T. Medical Center. Preceded in death by grandson, Michael Fain; parents, Ernest S. and Luana Duncan Miller; sisters, Sarah Bivens, Bertha Davis, Rosa Miller; brothers, Howard, Paul, Ernest, Jr., Arnold, Lester and Ray Miller; niece, Amanda Harris; nephews, Dale Gourley, Rusty Miller and Steve Harris; mother-in-law, Martha Viola McKenzie; sisters-in-law, Emily Walker, Alice Miller, Lillian Miller, Esther Miller, Lola Miller; brothers-in-law,  Beecher Miller, Roy Self, Gale Hawkins, Jimmy Walker.
